About the Role

NPL’s cutting-edge measurement science has a positive impact in the real world. As the National Metrology Institute, NPL is making a difference in ways that help to combat issues on a global scale – such as tackling climate change, enabling earlier disease diagnosis and innovation in healthcare, and supporting the development of new digital technologies and infrastructure.

We are looking for an experienced marketing communications professional as our next Marketing Programme Manager to develop compelling and engaging marketing communications strategies and multichannel campaigns to communicate the incredible work of NPL. This is both a strategic and creative role and an opportunity to lead on developing some exciting campaigns and initiatives that help raise the profile of NPL. Delivering campaigns to promote our capabilities to a range of audiences and drive demand for our programmes, products and services. Working with a wide range of internal stakeholders, this role is an opportunity to collaborate with experts in all areas of the business and work closely with talented colleagues in the Marketing & Communications department, to bring ideas to life. About You

You are already an experienced marketing communications professional and a strategic thinker, with experience in delivering integrated multichannel campaigns across the marketing and digital marketing mix. You can communicate and influence effectively at all levels, with excellent stakeholder management skills. You ideally have a marketing communications qualification (although that’s not essential) and have experience of developing clear and compelling messages and generating engaging content to communicate complex subjects, such as science or technology. That said, we are also looking for someone with a genuine passion and talent for marketing communications and the ability to thrive in an environment like ours.

Your strategic thinking is backed by a creative approach and the drive to deliver multiple campaigns and projects concurrently. You are able to work both autonomously as well as in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, to deliver the best results. You are results driven and strive to deliver best practice, measurable marketing communications to enable informative campaign reporting and analysis. You have an inquisitive mind and are keen to work as part of a talented team. At NPL, we learn from each other, respect each other and work together to do better.
