As a senior member of the Transformation and Change Team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of the NPL internal change Project Management capability and ensuring that outputs are delivered in line with industry-standard best practices and the key objectives of NPL. To be successful in this role, you will need to provide leadership to ensure NPL’s mission, approach, and plans are articulated and understood internally and externally for your areas of the business.

About You

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance and potential of your team, building highly motivated, customer-focused, and performing teams
  • Lead the internal change Project Management function to ensure maximum return on investment of internal transformational change
  • Guide the development of internal change project management approach, skills, and competency
  • Create opportunities to raise the internal profile of the internal change project management capability
  • Coach and mentor more junior project managers to ensure development, succession, and knowledge transfer

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in leading project management capability within a change/IT environment
  • Leading edge knowledge of project management in a system change environment to support complex internal change projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to work effectively across the business 
  • Experience across a range of delivery approaches (waterfall, agile) and knowledgeable in how to adapt approach to fit specific need whilst still ensuring fit for purpose governance
  • Have the confidence to challenge the status quo
  • A champion of change through visible ownership, clear and consistent communication, and a focus on strategic goals and benefits realisation
