In doing so, the National Physical Laboratory is helping to combat issues on a global scale such as climate change, curing diseases and the development of cutting-edge communications technology. It’s work we can be all proud of. As our Digital marketing executive, you’ll help ensure our digital communications showcase what we do, to make a measurable impact on our business. At NPL, we touch ordinary lives in extraordinary ways, and you could too.

 

We live in a digital era. So, all our digital communications and touchpoints must work for us. You’ll help plan and implement NPL’s social media plan, ensuring we deliver against our campaign objectives, and continually looking for innovative ways that we can showcase the amazing work we do here at NPL. You’ll also be the go-to person for email marketing, supporting the campaigns team by delivering best-practice email marketing, and using your knowledge to drive continuous improvement. . And, of course, you’ll see to it that everything you carry out is always on-brand. You’ll work with the marketing channels and campaigns teams to ensure a fully integrated approach and to deliver best-practice solutions.

About You
You already have some experience of planning and delivering a range of digital marketing activity - with social media and email marketing an essential. You must be able to demonstrate:
 
  • A sound understanding of the B2B social media landscape
  • Successful implementation of a social media programme, to support business objectives
  • Experience of creating content for digital channels
  • How to measure success of digital campaigns
  • Experience of using an email marketing or marketing automation tool
 
You’re organised, a great communicator, analytical and willing to learn. You’re also passionate about what’s new and emerging in the digital space and take a proactive approach to all you do.
