As a Senior Deliver Manager, you’ll manage a team to ensure your portfolio of products and services delivers to expectations and that every opportunity is realised – including identifying new products and collaborations to feed into our continued growth. At NPL, we touch ordinary lives in extraordinary ways and you could too.

Managing a team, you’ll take a holistic view of the products and services within your portfolio – to check that we’re maximising every opportunity and that everything’s being delivered as it should be. Working with the business, science and engineering leaders, you’ll help put together resourcing, business and investment plans, as well as long-term strategies. You will also work with team leaders to develop new product and service ideas, taking into consideration the impact this will have on the broader organisation. Building relationships with existing customers, new customers, potential partners and collaborators will therefore also be essential. And you will also take responsibility for the performance of your team – motivating them to do better, carrying out their reviews, developing their potential and encouraging them to work together and model NPL’s values.  

About You
The Nuclear metrology group needs an experienced delivery manager with a proven background of delivering complex business and technical projects by using internal and external suppliers. 
You must be  a natural leader and must have experience of managing a team, which means you’ll need superb communication, organisation and influencing skills. Beyond that, we’re looking for someone who’ll thrive in an environment like ours.
