Every department has their own set of unique needs. As the Senior Administrator, you’ll get to know what those are and set up the right levels of administrative support to deliver on them. As a member of the Assurance team, you will manage and provide high quality, efficient and effective administration support for a department, ensuring that all administrative duties are carried out and completed on time and meet the relevant business standards including support for NOLA (NPLs Online Learning Application) and Data Protection (GDPR).
 
Key responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate and organise the administrative duties for the department ensuring activities are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with company process and procedure.
 
  • Collate, produce and distribute data, information, quality documents and reports to the appropriate individuals and departments when required to deadlines.   

  • Update and maintain department records, systems and databases to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date and ensuring the owners update on time 

  • Manage the Department Inboxes - Respond to queries or re-direct/escalate where appropriate to support the activities in the department in a professional and timely manner enabling the department to meet its service level agreements. 

  • Organise and manage department activities and supplies to ensure that the department operates efficiently  

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the operation of the department to effectively support the team. 

  • Maintain and build relationships with stakeholders, providing them with the information required to meet business objectives 

  • Prepare presentations, minutes, reports and management information, including budget and progress reports and circulate appropriately  

  • Implement and maintain procedures and administrative systems, SharePoint sites and databases ensuring compliance with company standards

  • Support management on appropriate activities, conducting research where necessary.  

  • Responsible for taking reasonable duty of care for Health & Safety of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work and always follow direct instructions given with regards to Health & Safety. 

About You
  • Day-to-day management of the department’s administrative duties
  • Plenty of hands-on administration experience (which includes some team leadership too)
  • Superb communication skills, be 100% customer-focussed, service-driven and a strong multi tasker.
