     As our Communications Manager, you’ll manage both our internal and corporate communications so that we engage with our people and strengthen our reputation with customers and other stakeholdersAt NPL, we touch ordinary lives in extraordinary ways and you could too. 

     Communications – whether external or internal – need to do a similar thing. They need to connect with your audience. Working with the Head of Internal Communication, you’ll help develop and implement a communications plan that underpins our corporate strategy. Internally, you’ll manage our communications channels (from our intranet, to emails and any printed materials).

     Externally, you’ll manage a corporate database and produce a variety of collateral (digital or printed), that could be sent or distributed at corporate events. Whether your communications are internal or external, they will need to reflect best-practice, be on brand and executed to the highest qualityon time and within budget. You will also take on the day-to-day management of the team, carrying out their reviews and helping them fulfil their potential.

  • A member of the Marketing and Communications Department, delivering high quality Marketing and Communications projects that raise awareness of the NPL brand and elements within it.
     
    Key responsibilities

    -  To raise the external profile of NPL broadly to other stakeholder, collaborators, Industry, policymakers and influencers through external communications, enhancing NPL’s brand.
    - Deliver against a planned communications strategy to engage NPL externally in a thoughtful, clear and engaging way.
    - Deliver relevant communications projects targeted at the public to help our brand awareness increase through communications activity.
    - Manage relevant stakeholder engagement schemes and programmes to support the exchange of knowledge and expertise between NPL and 
    stakeholder organisations.
    - Be an integral part of our brand, working on communications projects that enhance our future brand in the external marketplace.
    - Build a network of contacts across all areas of NPL and externally that will enable you to deliver your role effectively.
    - Responsible for taking reasonable duty of care for Health & Safety of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work and always follow direct instructions given with regards to Health & Safety.
